Solar System Design

A great solar system begins with a stand-out design. When designing your system, we use photogrammetry software and drone imaging to create a 3-D model of your building to ensure highest accuracy of measurement while evaluating shade, equipment and environmental losses to calculate estimated energy production from solar.

Our decades of combined solar energy construction experience, combined with technical expertise, means our solar systems are guaranteed to perform. Hammond Renewable Energy’s portfolio includes an equal mix of ground-mount, dual-axis tracking and rooftop commercial projects. Compared to design firms with a narrow breadth of experience in a single type of system design, this gives us great all-around design experience for whatever system type you ultimately choose.

Like any electrical upgrade, there’s a fair bit of paperwork involved in getting permission to connect your solar energy system to the local electrical grid, submitting designs for an electrical code compliance review and organizing a final on-site safety inspection. Where grid capacity is available, we have a strong track record of application approvals thanks to our due diligence and code compliance.

Owner or Lender’s Representative

When purchasing, selling or financing a solar energy asset, there is often the need for an experienced, independent third party to validate the value of the system. Our solar technicians and engineers work together to provide payment certifier, owner’s representative or lender’s representative services to help ascertain your asset’s true worth. We will conduct a design and on-site installation review and provide a letter of confirmation that includes a system appraisal and list of deficiencies. Rest assured that your financial deal is secure, backed by a fair and accurate appraisal.
