About Hammond Renewable Energy

Hammond Renewable Energy builds and maintains quality solar energy systems and energy storage systems for commercial and agricultural clients in central and south-western Ontario.

Hammond Renewable Energy has the experience and professionalism to see your commercial solar projects through from start to finish. We provide the one-on-one support needed to ensure your company or farm is meeting its solar potential.

Our team has decades of experience in the solar field, where we’ve been involved in designing and maintaining Ontario’s first wave of commercial solar energy projects. As new-build commercial experts, Hammond Renewable Energy currently services close to 400 local rooftop, tracker installations and ground-mount solar projects.

We focus on agricultural and small to medium-sized commercial projects. Our team will help with system design, project management, engineering, application submissions, construction and ongoing service and maintenance. Because your project matters and you deserve quality results.

About the team

Sean Hammond - President

While Sean may have over 10 years of experience in the solar industry, his first-ever project dates back even further. As a Grade 6 student fascinated by the renewable energy potential of the Muskoka region, Sean successfully built a solar-fuelled air heat-exchanger as a science fair project.

Since then, Sean has followed his passion and been involved in over 1,200 solar projects in both Canada and the U.S. His focus is on enabling commercial clients to harness sustainable, clean energy through quality solar systems.

After managing a solar operations team, he decided to found his own company in 2017 and has since worked on over 100 projects.
