Projects

Location: Eastern Ontario
Install type: Commercial
Size: 773kW

After creating a full 3-D model of the building using drone survey technology, we designed a system that fit perfectly on this commercial manufacturing and logistics facility and required no electrical upgrades to the main switchgear. We flush mounted 1440 panels (773kW) with 30 year performance warranty by clamping them to a standing seam structural steel roof. Zero roof penetrations!

This system will produce over 850,000kWh of clean electricity per year.

Location: Near Stratford, ON
Install type: Commercial
Size: 150kW

With one of the largest fleets of electric golf carts in the province, this ‘Happy’ campground uses a lot of electricity during their busy season.  The unused roof space on many of the buildings is ideal for making solar power all year long, providing huge electrical bill savings!  We outfitted 4 buildings during this first-phase of our client’s plans to ‘go solar’.

Location: Mt. Forest, ON
Install type: Commercial
Size: 155kW

This equipment rental facility took advantage of the east & west facing roof surfaces on their shop to produce solar energy all day in a way that closely follows the pattern in which they consume electricity  They have very little usage overnight so they are able to directly consume much of what they produce.  Our design focused on creating steady, max power for much of the day.  Any remainder is stored with their utility as a bill credit for shady or snow covered days when they need it.  We were also able to avoid an expensive Hydro One transformer upgrade with some good electrical engineering.

Location: Near Barrie, ON
Install type: Agricultural
Size: 124kW

This Organic Greens farm was looking for ways to offset over-head costs and be a good environmental steward.  We were able to replace some older electrical infrastructure, take advantage of government grants and offset their electrical bill with clean solar energy.  They were short on roof space but had some unused land so we split the solar array between rooftop and 250′ fixed tilt ground-mount racking, custom designed for their location.

Location: Toronto, ON
Install type: Commercial
Size: Size: 385kW

A publicly traded company that owns and operates multi-unit residential apartments enlisted our services to design and construct solar generators under the net-metering program with Toronto Hydro.  With additional metering installed and live solar monitoring, the owner now has onsite electricity generation to offset common area requirements and visibility into the building’s moment-by-moment energy consumption.

Location: Oro, ON
Install type: Agricultural
Size: 12.8 kW

We were contacted by the insurance company to rebuild a tracking system damaged by wind. We were able to maximize customer return by installing a new DEGER-modified system to work with the existing foundation.

Location: Windsor, ON
Install type: Commercial
Size: 250 kW AC

We conducted a system inspection and conformance review for a utility-owned system that had to be removed and rebuilt to allow for a roof replacement.

Location: Toronto, ON
Install type: Commercial
Size: 250 kW AC

Designed and built by Sean earlier in his career for a family-owned Toronto business, and continues to provide ongoing service and maintenance work.

Location: Chesley, ON
Install type: Agricultural
Size: 12kW

We replaced panels under warranty, improving system performance by 10%.

Location: Shallow Lake, ON
Install type: Agricultural
Size: 50 kW AC

We designed and built this project using micro-inverters to mitigate shade from the silos, and provide ongoing operations and maintenance support.
